One of the things I appreciated most was that Bill Radford addressed the two biggest questions communities typically ask before discussing anything else: water usage and power consumption.

Water: Duos Edge facilities require no municipal water for cooling. Instead, they utilize closed-loop cooling systems similar to commercial air conditioning. In fact, Bill jokingly noted that the sip of water he took during the presentation was more water than the facility would use during its operation.
Power: Unlike hyperscale data centers that can place significant demands on local electrical infrastructure, Duos Edge’s edge facilities are intentionally designed with a much smaller power footprint. The company also builds close to existing utility infrastructure and invests in the necessary electrical equipment, helping minimize costs and impacts on the surrounding community.
