ABOUT

The YTexas Leadership Academy (TXLA) is a 501c (3) non-profit organization created for Texas high school and college students to collaborate with business leaders for networking mentorship, relationship building, entrepreneurship and career building.

The academy fosters interaction with CEOs in the following industry sectors: Technology, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Sports/Entertainment, Transportation/Aviation, Retail/Consumer Goods, Non-profit and Government, Energy, Business/Financial Services and Real Estate Services

In 2025, our signature event, the YTexas Summit, invites students to Daikin Park to interact with executives, learn about career pathways, and compete in the Big Texas Pitch, the state’s first inter-collegiate pitch competition.

Big Texas Pitch is where students with solutions to Texas’ biggest challenges take center stage. Live at Daikin Park (home of the Astros) during the YTexas Summit, the top student innovators from Texas Universities will compete in front of industry leaders, executives, and investors.

All finalists will enter the 2026 YTexas Leadership Academy, to build their network and bring their idea to life!
