LANDSEA HOMES MOVING HEADQUARTERS FROM CALIFORNIA TO TEXAS

Dallas will soon be home to one of the largest homebuilders in the nation, Landsea Homes Corporation.

As the 47th largest builder in the country, this California-based company plans to relocate its corporate headquarters from Newport Beach to the Uptown District of Dallas.

“As a national publicly traded homebuilder with communities from California to Florida, this is a strategic move in the best interests of our shareholders,” CEO John Ho said in a statement. “In addition to the logistical advantages Dallas offers, we believe this relocation is beneficial from a number of standpoints, including a lower cost of living and access to a highly educated workforce, which are critical as we continue to build our corporate team.”

Landsea Homes actively builds homes in Arizona, California, Florida and Texas. The company had $936 million in gross revenue from 1,640 closings in 2021. In the same year, Landsea purchased 900 lots in Anthem Texas, a master-planned community located in Kyle.

Not only is the company relocating their headquarters to Texas, Landsea is also increasing their mark on and work in Texas.

“In addition to our overall coast-to-coast growth strategy, we are very focused on growing our homebuilding footprint in Texas, and this move demonstrates our strong commitment to the state,” Ho said.

Texas is fertile soil for new homes, business opportunities, and headquarter relocations.

A big Texas welcome to Landsea Homes!
