The YTexas Relocation Record, 2005 to 2026
Everyone talks about AustinHalf of all companies moving to Texas go to Dallas Fort Worth.
We have recorded every corporate relocation into Texas we could verify since 2005. That record now holds 398 companies, with the city and state each one came from. No state agency publishes it. No chamber publishes it. This is what it says.

What this record does not tell you.
It is what could be verified, not a census, so the numbers are a floor. Origin shares are calculated across the companies whose origin we recorded, not all 398. It does not carry industry or headcount. It does not tell you why companies chose what they chose.
The record answers where. The network answers who.
Thirteen years of relationships across Texas is the part that is not in a dataset.
