Effective Jan. 1, 2017, subject to closing conditions, TravisWolff will operate as Armanino LLP. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Perry Kaufman, managing partner of TravisWolff, will continue to head the Dallas office under the new title Regional Leader and will serve on the firm’s executive committee. He told the Dallas Business Journal that virtually all of his team will be retained. Offices will remain at 15950 Dallas Parkway.
“Top talent is scarce,” Kaufman said. “Attracting and retaining top talent is critical. That was a big appeal to us. They had advanced farther than we had in that internal capability.”
The deal gives San Ramon-based Armanino — the 24th largest accounting and business consulting firm in the country with revenue of $195 million — a presence in Dallas and an introduction to Texas, said Andy Armanino, managing partner of Armanino.
