Houston-based cloud storage company SoftNas LLC is setting up its first permanent headquarters in west Houston as its employment count continues to grow.

SoftNas will set up shop at 10497 Town and Country Way near City Centre, president, CFO and COO Michael Goodwin told the Houston Business Journal. The headquarters will primarily house its sales and support staff. Most of SoftNas’ team of 52 employees work remote, Goodwin said.

“We continue to see exponential growth,” Goodwin told the HBJ. “As long as that continues we’ll continue to add headcount. The focus going forward will be adding headcount in Houston.”

The HQ move was part of a growth strategy from last year, when CEO Rick Braddy told the HBJ a new headquarters was in order following a $5 million angel round. Goodwin said SoftNas has closed an additional round, but declined to name how much the round raised. However, Goodwin added that most of the new round included contributions from previous investors.
